Idiom of the Week
Idioms are figurative expressions that mean something other than what they sound like. Some of our third graders will be learning idioms in speech-language therapy this year. I will be posting an Idiom of the Week at the beginning of each week. The Idiom of the Week for September 12th is:
It's raining cats and dogs.
It really means: It's raining really hard.
